The lineage began on earth in the year 753 BC. Merlin revealed himself and Mauma to a human being, living in England, who was close to true spiritual awakening. Because the Vortex could be used as both a path to healing as well as a path to enlightenment, this being utilized one of the advanced Vortex meditations and did wake up through it, becoming the first human Merlin. He began the tradition that when someone became sufficiently enlightened within this lineage and became a teacher of it, they took on the name Merlin, for they had become sufficiently one with Merlin to now be a doorway for Merlin on earth. Thus Merlin became a title, not a name.

This first human Merlin began the first VortexHealing Training in England, with 3 trainees, in that same year, 753 BC. The Merlin of legend (during the time of King Arthur) was actually the 5^th Merlin—there were twelve. The lineage disappeared from 4 AD to 593 AD—unless there is someone who is capable of “holding the lineage” the transmissions cannot be given and the lineage dies out. It was then recovered, through dreams, by a teenager who later became the 5^th Merlin—he had been a Vortex student in a past life. The lineage stayed continuous then until 1247 AD, when the last person practicing within the lineage died. (It was last taught in 1198 AD.)

The divine brought the lineage back into manifestation through Ric Weinman on November 26, 1994, 747 years after it had been lost to the outer world. Ric had studied it in two past lives, both in England. On September 2, 1995, Ric taught the first VortexHealing class of this generation. On November 20, 1997, he became the 13^th Merlin of the lineage. Since then, other teachers have been trained and given the teacher-transmission (which can only be given by the lineage holder), enabling VortexHealing to be taught on a more global level. Each of these teachers has become a Merlin as well. And in keeping with the amazing acceleration of spiritual consciousness that is happening in this era, the amount and depth of new techniques and teachings that Merlin has brought into the lineage since he re-manifested it has been extraordinary.

Due to a snow storm that cancelled my flight, I spent the night at the airport. At 1 am, I woke up to some lady in her 40s coughing in a chair next to me. Every fifteen seconds she'd get into these loud, dry coughs that kept everyone up. After some 20 minutes of waiting the couching to subside, I decided to do a healing on her from a distance. I put in some special energetic structures into her to facilitate better breathing. By the third one, she was sound asleep. (took me about three minutes total)

 

After about an hour, I woke up to more coughing, except that now the condition had progressed to where she almost choked a couple of times. To my comment: "Your body needs water" she replied that only reason she's at the airport is because she is waiting for the luggage that contains the machine that she's always hooked up to and allows her to breathe. For whatever reason, the airline had not allowed her to bring it on the plane but then ended up losing the luggage that contained the machine.

 

Since there was no end in sight to her coughing and suffering - and I needed sleep - I decided to give her another, more extensive healing from a distance. Tuning into her revealed a tremendous underlying emotional issue. I asked Merlin to address the true cause of her breathing condition and used Omega-level healing tools for about 30-40 minutes. Within 10 minutes, she was quiet. In 20 minutes, she was sound asleep and slept for hours without coughing or waking up. Some 7-8 hours later, I saw her eating next to me at a restaurant. Still, no coughing - and she looked a lot better.
